Rapid access to potable water was a key hurdle to the success of the development.
The success of a greenfield development on a small, uninhabited outer island of the Turks and Caicos depended on immediate, potable water. Eager to get to work as quickly as possible, the customer needed to find a dependable water supply fast.
Seven Seas Water managed all aspects of the project and operated the seawater reverse osmosis (SWRO) plant – all without any responsibility or up-front capital investment for equipment from the developers. Within four weeks, a 50,000 GPD mobile SWRO container was up and running on the site, including feed water well drilling.
The plant exceeds requirements by producing permeate water of less than 230 ppm Total Dissolved Solids (TDS) from a feed water salinity of 33,100 ppm. Designed for efficiency, the mobile plants consume minimal power – nearly half the energy of comparable container units.
10 Million gallons daily of treated water capacity supplied by Seven Seas Water; 200+ Years of combined experience in water treatment; Zero up-front capital investment for equipment from our clients.
