Seven Seas Water Rapidly Deploys 5.5 Million Gallons Per Day to Water & Sewerage Authority of Trinidad & Tobago

05/26/10

Seven Seas Water Corporation is pleased to announce that we have reached an agreement with the Water & Sewerage Authority (WASA) of Trindad & Tobago for the rapid deployment of equipment to supply five and a half million (5,500,000) US GPD of seawater reverse osmosis desalinated water. The water is badly needed to help offset the severe water shortage caused by the extended drought affecting Trinidad and Tobago. Seven Seas Water was able to respond quickly to the emergency water demand by utilizing its fleet of ready-built mobile desalination units, a number of which will be located in the Point Fortin area in the south-west of Trinidad. The use of the Seven Seas units by WASA is one of a number of steps taken to address the present water scarcity. Doug Brown, Seven Seas’ CEO noted, “We are delighted we are able to assist WASA in developing a reliable and cost-effective water supply for Trinidad. Our ability to deploy ready to operate systems rapidly allows us to address the current water shortage in Trinidad as quickly as possible. Our experience operating these systems will ensure the island is receiving the most reliable water supply possible.” Seven Seas Water Corporation operates throughout the greater Caribbean and the Americas with the sole mission of delivering crucial water and waste water solutions for municipal, industrial and private clients.
