Seven Seas Water and the USVI Water & Power Authority Demonstrate the Success of Their Private-Public Partnership

Seven Seas Water and the VI Water and Power Authority once again partnered to demonstrate the success of their private-public partnership by together sponsoring the USVI Agriculture and Food Fair.  Billed as “AGRIFEST,” the fair is the largest agricultural exposition in the territory. The event was held from February 13-15, 2010 on the grounds of the Rudolph Shulterbrandt Agricultural Complex in Estate Lower Love, St. Croix.  For 3 days, the visitors to the fair had the opportunity to learn about how a public-private partnership works, how the partnership has reduced costs associated with water production and how and why the new technology, reverse osmosis (RO), has reduced energy requirements making less of an environmental impact on the local environment.
